The power of social media Jillian Rippolone will be interviewed by host Ilana Bergen on a wide range of topics. We will be discussing her Caravan to Canada trip with Bernie Sanders to bring awareness to the Insulin Affordability Crisis happening in the United States and the Diabetes community on social media. Additionally, we will also be discussing her journey as a Type 1 and growing up having a Type 1 sibling. ABOUT JILLIAN RIPPOLONE Jillian Rippolone was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 8 years old in 1997. Jillian and her brother were diagnosed one year apart with Type 1. Jillian was one of the first Type 1 accounts spreading diabetes awareness and inspiring others to live confidently with Type 1 Diabetes. Jillian is a Type 1 advocate and volunteer in her community and on her social media platforms. She is currently on the Omnipod System and Dexcom G6 and holds her bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Social Science. |
