2024: A Year of Empowerment and Expansion

In 2024, Ready to Empower celebrated a decade of impact—10 years of transforming lives through mental health support and women’s empowerment. With the incredible support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we reached new heights and laid the foundation for an even stronger future.

Major Milestones and Highlights

• Launched Ready EmpowerED, a mental health and professional development initiative for educators and professionals, helping fund our mission sustainably.
• Expanded our global presence and forged new alliances with the U.S. Embassy, United Nations in Costa Rica, and other key stakeholders.
• Honored to ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell in celebration of our 10-year anniversary.
• Hosted our first in-person event since COVID--Keys to Empowerment, raising $12,600

A New Chapter
We transitioned away from our long-term partner Árbol de Esperanza with deep gratitude, and we now look to bring our Empowerment Program to new communities around the world. With sustainability at our core, we’re preparing for broader impact than ever before.

For Ready to Empower, 2023 has been an incredibly fulfilling and productive year, filled with key achievements and impactful projects. We focused on several key initiatives that have significantly enhanced our reach and impact. 
Key initiatives:

• Launched new Salesforce data collection project to collect donor and volunteer data in addition to our Empowerment Program impact numbers
• Refreshed our Empowerment Program curriculum and built a new leadership curriculum
• Created the operational processes for onboarding new partners
• Launched a new brand look and feel
• Created a strategic 3-5 year plan

These efforts have strengthened our foundation and positioned us for even greater success in the future. And, one of our proudest achievements in 2023 was our impact on women in our Empowerment Program. We provided over 610 women with free mental health support, life skills training, and job coaching.
