Literacy Chicago students can request individualized tutoring.

Literacy ProgramAdult Literacy classes are friendly beginning reading/writing classes for readers at a 1st-5th grade level. Classes are held in small groups Monday thru Thursday from 10:00 to 3:00.

Adult Basic EducationLiteracy Chicago's ABE course teaches basic reading, writing, and math skills below a high school level. This course can be taken as an introduction to the GED Preparation course.

GED PreparationWith a GED in hand better jobs are available with high salaries. Students can show that they can complete a goal or go on to higher education.

ESLESL courses help learners to communicate more effectively and more easily in English. Classes include speaking and listening exercises, interactive conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and American culture.

Citizenship/ESLOur classes will help prepare for the naturalization interview. Classes will cover every part of the citizenship exam. Students study US history and civics as well as doing practice interviews.

Digital LiteracyACE the Computer classes teach how to use internet, social media, email, and type. In ACE the Workforce learn skills to find jobs, information, and communicate professionally with Google Suite.
