Hello, my name is Bridget Foyé, CEO and President of Team G.A.I.N. California. G.A.I.N. California is here to help you succeed in your current career or establish a new one! G.A.I.N. is here to serve. I have worked in the healthcare industry for three decades.
My interest in healthcare began as a young child watching my mother who served others as a Licensed Vocational nurse, Surgical Nurse, Registered Nurse and retired serving the community as a Hospice Care Registered Nurse.
While I knew working in the hospital inpatient setting was not my choice, it was clear my profession would be in the healthcare industry. All positions as a healthcare professional have been rewarding from Medical Assistant, Insurance Billing Specialist, Certified Professional Coder, Frontline software trouble shooter, Coding Supervisor, Project Manager, Coding Manager, Senior Coding Manager, to Risk Adjustment Specialist.
While each position was a challenge, they provided the opportunity to learn, educate, mentor, and grow from each challenge.
Health Information Management (H.I.M.) and healthcare coding professionals are in great demand. This industry provides respectable, rewarding positions with financial stability for those who are socially and economically in need to succeed in life while providing for their families. Or you just want a new job!
