Animal Education Initiative Model“ Animal Allies—Pets in Classroom along with Wild Beginnings Pop-up, wild encounters : In our engagement with schools, we tailor activities to align closely with our organizational objectives. Our primary goal is to assist schools in meeting the educational standards outlined by the Georgia Department of Education. By immersing students in interactive learning experiences centered around animals selected by the schools, we aim to ignite a passion for careers in Animal Welfare, spanning disciplines like marine biology and veterinary science. Moreover, we advocate for responsible pet ownership within the students’ families. We have cultivated partnerships with three schools, including a preschool and two elementary schools, with plans for further expansion. We have successfully introduced seven aquariums in classrooms and offer support in maintaining classroom pets. Our initiatives have positively impacted over 340 students. We hope to grow more 2.
