Dr. Faye Shaw Jenkins
Jacqueline Rankins-Smith Kesha D. Shaw Masterpiece Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is our mission to reach the Homeless, Hopeless, Hungry, and Hurting in the River Region. Each person is a masterpiece shaped by God. Ephesians 2:10 states, for we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. We desire to be God’s hands and feet in the earth showing our constituents love and compassion through service giving them a Piece of the Master.

Dr. Faye Shaw Jenkins
Dr. Faye is the visionary and a founder of Masterpiece, Inc. Faye was born in Montgomery, Alabama but was raised in Leesville, Louisiana. Faye served in the United States Army for more than 25 years. Shortly after her military retirement, she moved to Montgomery and worked as a Parent Liaison for the Montgomery Public School System.
Faye is an alumni of University of Maryland, Faulkner University and Touch of Love Theological Institute. She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology in May 2023. Rev. Dr. Jenkins is an anointed woman of God, the assistant pastor and spiritual leader for the Brewer Heights Missionary Baptist Church alongside her husband, Bishop Kevin D. Jenkins, Sr. They have a blended family of seven children, seven grandchildren and seven godchildren. Dr. Jenkins was licensed and ordained in December 2014.
She is a Mary Kay Senior Sales Director and she uses her business as a means to reach out to other women with a dual purpose to offer the Word of God and an optimistic outlook.
Dr. Jenkins is motivated by her love for God which gives her strength and joy in all that she does. She is family-oriented, business-minded and she loves helping others. Helping abused women, children and the homeless are the areas that she can personally relate to. She “aspires to inspire before she expires.”

Jacqueline Rankins Smith
Jacqueline is a founder and Treasurer of Masterpiece Inc. Born in Montgomery Alabama in 1958 to a single mother; she was blessed to be raised by a village which included her grandmother & great grandmother. They instilled in her the value of doing to others whatever you would like them to do to you. She graduated from Troy State University in 1983 with a degree in Finance . In 2009, after 33 years of banking, she retired from Wells Fargo Bank in Atlanta, Ga. She believes in bringing glory to God through her service to others and has volunteered all her life with many organizations.
Kesha D. Shaw
Kesha is a founder and Administrative Assistant of Masterpiece Inc. She was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She is a 1994 graduate of Alabama A&M University, BS Accounting. Kesha has been working in the area of financial aid for companies who have won multi-year contracts from the Department of Education since 1995. She initially learned what it means to have a giving heart from her parents. As a believer she knows God has a purpose for her life to share the love of Christ to people through her actions. She is apart of a couple of women’s organizations in the city for the sole purpose of serving the community. Kesha has been married to Isaac Shaw Jr since 2002. They have 2 daughters, Kourtney Noelle and Eden Nycolle.

Programs & Missions
1. Hungry
Target group: Youth (ages 2-18 years old) and Elderly (60 and up)
Program Name: Never Begging for Bread
Mission: To assist those who are in need of nourishing and healthy meals. Provide groceries/food boxes to families to help supplement missing resources for the elderly. Our youth and elderly in the population will be our target group because they are usually limited in funds and resources due to retirement, illness, or being under age for work.
2. Homeless
Target group: Homeless veterans of the U.S. Military
Department Name: V.E.T.S. (Victorious, Empowered, Triumphant, and Strong) for Life
Mission: To assist those who need temporary housing and partner with other local agencies to provide temporary and permanent housing. It is also important for homeless veterans to have some essentials we would like to provide are: socks, shoes, underwear, clothes, toiletries, Visa gift cards, etc. In the future it is out desire to be able to help facilitate job placement and permanent employment for our homeless veterans. The homelessness includes those who do not have a permanent residence of their own or leasing housing from an apartment or home owner. We want to assist them with purchasing household goods when permanent housing is secured. Our plan is to host an event for homeless vets provides services
3. Hurting
Target group - Youth Suicide Prevention Counseling
Department Name: Healing Hurts
Mission: To assist the youth in dealing with depression, grief, and bullying. Children need to have a safe place to be mentored and counseled to deal with the pressures of school, making friends, feeling unheard, and bullying. We want to partner and host with other non-profits, churches, and agencies to have a yearly empowerment explosion. The explosion will involve speakers, fun activities, giveaways, etc.
4. Hopeless:
Target Group - Spiritual Guidance/Enrichment – All Ages
Program Name: Plant A Seed

To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by “planting a seed” of hope in the hearts and minds of all people. We want to purchase bibles, devotional books, and tracts to give to those we service in every area of the non-profit. In the future we would like to incorporate a chat /phone counseling line to people seeking spiritual guidance and direction.
