We are an instrument of educational renewal in the hands of the Lord with the purpose of bringing the Body of Christ back to the original norms of the New Testament Church so that it reveals the Kingdom of God in every segment of our society, in such a way that the Glory of God may cover the whole earth.
We are part of the model of future learning, in the field of higher education, for ministerial preparation.
Our experience involves more than purely theory based studies. The new ministers of tomorrow need to be encouraged with various elements which will guide them to a stimulating environment in order to efficiently carry out what we know as the essential work of the church.
Logos means being a member of the community and dedicating oneself to mutual aid and the establishment of the Kingdom of God.

Logos is not subsidized by any organization of any kind and has no direct affiliation with other church organizations, nor is it a for-profit body or a specific denomination. Logos has ministerial coverage under the Logos Global Network, which is made up of different ministerial organizations.
Our faculty and staff at Logos are not dissociated from the pulpit, but are actively involved in the ministry of the local church.

The divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority of the Old and New Testaments as a whole as the only written Word of God; without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible guide of faith and practice.

That God's message is addressed to all mankind without distinction; because the revelation of God in Christ through His Word is unalterable.
That through the Holy Spirit, God continues to speak to his church and to illuminate the minds of the people of God in every culture so that it is preserved vigorously and victorious in the face of all adversity.
Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, which means that He is God Himself. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, died on the cross as the perfect atoning sacrifice for the sins of this world, rose from the dead in the body in which he was crucified, ascended to heaven in that glorified body, where He is now our High Priest and Intercessor and returns again in His Divine glory just as He said more than two thousand years ago.
Logos recognizes the authority and autonomy of the local church, therefore, it will not intervene or interfere in the movement of it, its discipline or its doctrinal emphasis.

Logos Christian University was conceived in an intercession room, through a revelation where God manifested His divine purpose to establish a training center for Gospel workers.
This vision gave rise to what is now Logos, an institution serving the preparation of leaders in different academic areas. Through the merger of several small Bible Institutes that had their beginnings near the time we were founded, Logos emerged with a prophetic mandate to serve the body of Christ through an educational commitment to the local church. Today with more than twenty years of service and experience, this mandate continues to be our clear calling. The administration and the current faculty group are always aware of the importance and responsibility that has been given to us. Many Christian leaders throughout the United States have made important contributions to the life and development of Logos Christian University; For their selfless and visionary contribution, we will be eternally grateful. We express our gratitude to all who have gone before us, as well as those who will follow us in this global effort to go and make disciples, teaching them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. La Universidad Cristiana Logos fue concebida en un cuarto de intercesión, a través de una revelación donde Dios manifestó su propósito divino de establecer un centro de preparación para obreros del Evangelio. MEET OUR PRESIDENT - CONOCE A NUESTRO PRESIDENTEA story to tell…
Through the years, I have learned that the message of salvation does not change, but remains powerful. The methodology may be a little different, but the power of it still manifests itself. It is a privilege for me to lead this organization and be part of God's move with a great team of leaders, pastors, ministers: many great men and women of God who are impacting the nations. If, as a young man, they had asked me to be involved in Christian Education I would have laughed. First, because I did not meet Jesus Christ until I was 18 years old and second, because I never had an interest in being a teacher and educator. On the contrary, when I learned about computers I always wanted to work and learn from them. When I started my studies, I realized that programming was not my strong suit. I learned a lot about computers, and this was the knowledge that God was going to use to open the doors for me at Logos Christian College. In 1991, I had my encounter with Jesus Christ. In less than 3 months I was baptized and shared my testimony in the small “Renacer” Baptist Church. It was not easy, but I decided to give everything to the Lord, working in my church and learning everything I could. During a desperate time in my life and while looking for another job outside of the church where I was serving as a secretary, not making much money, I received a call from Dr. Charles Travis, who needed a translator for some material he had received from Argentina. I offered to translate it and that is how a friendship between Logos and myself was born. Dr. Travis then invited me to work at Logos binding books. One day, the administrator had problems with his computer and, although my English was still a bit limited, seeing his frustration, I asked him if I could work on his computer. So, I fixed the system. And from there, I started working on all of Logos’ computers and learning the systems. On one occasion, when a group of Hispanic brothers from California visited us, they shared the need to train Hispanic students in the United States. They motivated us to translate the English material. During this time, Rebekah, my wife, is also working at Logos. One day, Walter Angélica arrived from Argentina and we formed a beautiful friendship and decided that we could do something for Hispanics. We then began to develop Logos Bible Institute. The beginning was hard, because we knew what was needed, but not how to do it. We were young and inexperienced but with a passion for sharing the gospel and training others. So one of the first things we did was surround ourselves with great men and women of God. God used a person to lead us to Dr. Esteban Fernández, who introduced us to Dr. Luciano Jaramillo and Dr. Dario Silva-Silva. Later, together with other friends who had been there before my arrival, such as Dr. Josué Elorreaga and others, we formed the first group of advisors of Universidad Cristiana Logos. During this time, Dr. Francisco Colop, introduced us to key people in education who helped us with the curriculum and especially with their friendship. A friendship that today has been characterized by the large group of leaders who govern the University such as members of the Board of Directors: Dr. Valdés, Dr. Vera, Dra. Varela, Dr. Garza, and Dr. Colop. The greatest honor that is granted me is to work for the Kingdom of God developing training programs and providing tools that benefit the people and their church, together with a great work team; the best. The future of Logos is wonderful. In 2019, we launched our Digital Magazine and the new radio station: www.dcn1041.com, to continue training and preaching the Gospel. There are doors for new alliances, new study programs and, above all, opportunities so that together we can be the best and largest Hispanic Christian University in the world. You are Logos! La metodología puede ser un poco distinta, pero el poder de éste, aún se manifiesta. Es un privilegio para mí dirigir esta organización y ser parte del mover de Dios con un gran equipo de líderes, pastores, ministros y grandes hombres y mujeres de Dios que están impactando las naciones. Si de joven me hubieran preguntado sobre la educación Cristiana me hubiera reído; primero, porque no conocí a Jesucristo sino hasta los 18 años y segundo, porque nunca tuve interés por ser maestro y educador. Al contrario, cuando conocí de computadoras siempre quise trabajar y aprender de ellas. Al iniciar mis estudios, me dí cuenta que la programación no era mi fuerte y aunque aprendí mucho sobre computadoras, éste fue el conocimiento que Dios iba a utilizar para abrirme las puertas en Logos Christian College. En el 1991, tengo mi encuentro con Jesucristo. En menos de 3 meses soy bautizado y comparto mi testimonio en la pequeña Iglesia Bautista “Renacer”. No fue fácil pero decidí darle todo al Señor, trabajando en mi iglesia y aprendiendo todo lo que podía. Durante un tiempo de desesperación en mi vida y mientras buscaba otro trabajo fuera de la iglesia donde servía como un secretario, ya que no ganaba mucho dinero, recibo una llamada de Dr. Charles Travis, que necesitaba un traductor para un material que había recibido de Argentina. Yo me ofrecí a traducirlo y es así como nace una amistad entre Logos y mi persona. Dr. Travis, me invita, entonces, a trabajar en Logos encuadernado libros. Un día, el administrador tiene problemas con su computadora y aunque mi inglés todavía era un poco limitado, viendo su frustración, le pido trabajar en su computadora. Así que, arreglo el sistema. Y desde allí, comienzo a trabajar en las computadoras de Logos y aprendo los sistemas. En una ocasión, en que un grupo de hermanos hispanos de California nos visitan, comparten la necesidad de capacitar estudiantes hispanos en Estados Unidos. Nos motivan a que traduzcamos el material de inglés. Durante este tiempo Rebekah, mi esposa, también está trabajando en Logos. Un día, llega Walter Angélica de Argentina, con el cual formamos una linda amistad y decidimos que podíamos hacer algo por los hispanos. Comenzamos entonces, a desarrollar el Instituto Bíblico Logos. El inicio fue duro, porque sabíamos lo que se necesitaba pero no como realizarlo. Éramos jóvenes y sin experiencia pero con una pasión por compartir el Evangelio y la capacitación. Fue así, como una de las primeras cosas que hicimos fue rodearnos con grandes hombres y mujeres de Dios. Dios utilizó una persona para conducirnos al Dr. Esteban Fernández, que nos introdujo al Dr. Luciano Jaramillo y Dr. Dario Silva-Silva. Luego, junto a otros amigos que habían estado anteriormente a mi llegada como Dr. Josué Elorreaga y otros, formamos el primer grupo de consejeros de Universidad Cristiana Logos. Durante este tiempo Dr. Francisco Colop, nos introdujo a personas claves en la educación que nos ayudaron con currículo y sobre todo con su amistad. Una amistad que hoy se ha caracterizado por el gran grupo de líderes que rigen a la Universidad como miembros de la Junta Directiva: Dr. Valdés, Dr. Vera, Dra. Varela, Dr. Garza, Dr. Colop. El honor más grande que se me concede, es trabajar para el Reino de Dios creando programas de capacitación y brindando herramientas que beneficien al pueblo y su iglesia, junto a un gran equipo de trabajo; el mejor. El futuro de Logos es maravilloso. En este año 2019, lanzaremos nuestra Revista Digital y la nueva radio www.dcn1041.com, para seguir capacitando y predicando el Evangelio. Hay puertas para nuevas alianzas, nuevos programas de estudios y sobre todo oportunidades para que juntos podamos ser la mejor y más grande Universidad Cristiana Hispana del Mundo. Tú eres Logos!
