Decarbonizing Heating in Manufacturing and Other Medium-Temperature Applications
Thursday, May 15 at 6:30 PM | Hybrid | MDCRES
Industrial heating operations currently produce about 23% of the United States' GHG emissions, primarily from natural gas combustion. Decarbonizing this segment has received limited attention and has historically been viewed as a "hard to abate" sector due to high temperatures and the low price of natural gas. Join us as we welcome Blair Willcox, head of CurrentTech Energy, a thermal decarbonization consulting firm. This talk will attempt to bring some light to this sector and cover some ways to decarbonize and electrify these heating systems Vertical Divider
