Our organization promotes safety, healing, and justice for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We greatly appreciate your willingness to make a difference and support our mission. Volunteer Opportunities:
Sexual Assault Intervention Advocacy Program: Provide direct comprehensive support service designed to aid survivors of sexual assault. It offers crisis intervention, emotional support, and resources to assist survivors in their healing journey. The program works in collaboration with medical professionals, law enforcement, and other agencies to ensure survivors receive the care they need and to promote justice and prevention of sexual assault.
Lideres Program: Become a community leader in empowering and supporting community members encountering domestic abuse. It provides educational opportunities, mentorship, and skills training to help volunteers become effective leaders in their communities. The program fosters personal growth, social awareness, and civic engagement, equipping participants with the tools and knowledge to make positive change to assist and lead in outreach events out in New York City.

How to Apply
- Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
- Depending on the volunteer position, volunteers may need to complete a background check if interested in the Sexual Assault Intervention Advocacy Program.
- For both Sexual Assault Intervention Advocacy Program and Lideres Program, training provided by the Coalition staff is required.
We value diversity and inclusion. Volunteers from all backgrounds and communities are encouraged to apply. Other volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year based on the needs of the organization. Program Staff will provide task-specific orientation during onboarding.
