Kiri Lester-Hodges, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT
Outreach & Partnerships Coordinator Kiri is a licensed art therapist in Brooklyn, New York. She was born in Japan and grew up in Singapore, and moved to New York to pursue her undergraduate degree in Psychology at NYU, with minors in Studio Art and Creative Writing. She received her Masters Degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute in 2022, and has been working with individuals, running groups, and conducting continuing education courses since then. Kiri has experience working in front of house positions at high volume New York establishments like Levain Bakery, the Wythe Hotel, and the Four Horsemen. These experiences have informed Kiri both personally and professionally about the mental health issues present in the industry. She joined Restaurant After Hours initially as a peer support group facilitator, providing accessible psychoeducation and resources to fellow restaurant workers. In her current role at Restaurant After Hours, Kiri coordinates partnerships and makes connections with individuals, restaurants, and hospitality groups to respond to the mental health needs of the community. |
