Solar Luke Light and Chargers for Rotary Club Projects
The Program
Dozens of Rotary Clubs have partnered with Unite to Light since 2011 to provide International Projects and Disaster Aid Projects with access to solar light and power. These projects help children study at night, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, equip midwives with the tools they need to save lives, offer relief to those suffering from disasters and experiencing homelessness, and bring peace to the world. All Rotary Clubs can qualify to receive special Project Pricing by completing the application below. We can also partner with you to apply for District Grants and International Global Grants.

How We Partner
District Grants: Rotary Distribution in Ukraine in 2023
Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, Unite to Light - with support from numerous Rotary Clubs and Direct Relief - has sent 2,300 Luke Lights and 2,475 Chandler Chargers to Ukraine. Our solar products aid those displaced from their homes or sheltering in place without access to electricity. One of the recipient of our Chargers is this kindergarden class. It’s thanks to Rotary support that these children were able to continue their education in one of the most vital developmental years of their lives. Early education lays the foundation for learning and opportunity long-term.

Fundraise for Lights: Philippines Solar Light Project and Carpinteria Morning Rotary ClubWe sell our Lights and Chargers at a discount to any organization supporting people without electricity. For over ten years, we have partnered with the Philippines Solar Light Project and Carpinteria Morning Rotary to send solar lights to villages in need. Carpinteria Morning Rotary raises funds through their members and community to buy lights from Unite to Light and then the Philippines Solar Lights Projects transports the lights to the Philippines and distributes them to people most in need.
Unite to Light has free peer-to-peer fundraising tools that anyone can access here. Or you can fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page for more information. |
