In June 2018 COI volunteers Elizabeth Patron and Eliot Headley did a great job bringing awareness of plastic pollution to kids at Bay View elementary school.
This was the first of this type of program that we would like to expand to all the schools around the country.
Bay View Elementary was chosen to be the first school in this program because they will have a mural painted on the outside of their school about oceans and plastic pollution.
