Gerlach-Barklow Company Employee Newsletter
The Gerlach-Barklow Calendar Company was an art calendar factory located in Joliet at Washington and Richards Sts. The company incorporated in June of 1907 and quickly became one of the nation’s leading calendar and advertising companies. At its peak the company employed as many as 1,000 men and women in addition to over 500 sales personnel across the United States. The Weekly Review is the Gerlach-Barklow Company’s newsletter, published weekly and distributed to staff. The digital collection begins in 1908 and includes issues from the 1920s and 1940s.
