Our MissionThe mission of Youth-Reach Costa Rica is to provide young people with a refuge filled with hope, love, and new possibilities. We focus on serving the needs of those who have experienced trauma, as well as those who are just searching for something different. We do this in various ways by providing counselor training, teaching trauma related interventions, and by offering community through our Brazilian Ju-jitsu & baseball outreaches. Our vision is to inspire, train, and equip future leaders!

Hope & Good News
YRCR aims to bring hope and the good news of what God has done for us through Christ’s finished work on the cross, and to bring healing and peace to those who want or need it. We don’t consider ourselves to be “religious”, but we do practice living a life of faith, prayer, and loving others; as Jesus demonstrated to us over 2000 years ago when he freely gave his life to heal and restore lives. |

At YRCR, we aim to offer a healthy and safe family environment that will allow for the time needed to heal and grow. From our trained staff to the network of skilled professionals, we hope to create the feeling of a family, a “home” vs. an “institutional” way of living. |

Our team has decades of experience, along with the heart to walk with those who are suffering and looking for answers. A principle of Youth-Reach, which began in 1984 in Houston, Tx, is that we DO NOT charge for our services. In order to do this we rely heavily on the generous support of our donors. |
