Our MissionThe mission of Youth-Reach Costa Rica is to father the fatherless and inspire, train, and equip leaders.
There are two main areas of what we do:
We rely 100% on donors and volunteers in order to provide our services at no cost. Our vision is to see a community of strong, healthy families grow. We want to help bring light into dark places so hearts and minds can heal. |
Our BJJ/Wrestling
outreach teaches biblical principles through discipline, character, and integrity, as well as self-defense.

Hope & Good News
YRCR aims to bring hope and the good news of what God has done for us through Christ’s finished work on the cross, and to bring healing and peace to those who want or need it. We don’t consider ourselves to be “religious”, but we do practice living a life of faith, prayer, and loving others; as Jesus demonstrated to us over 2000 years ago when he freely gave his life to heal and restore lives. |

Family Environment & a Safe Community
At YRCR, we aim to offer a healthy and safe family environment that will allow for the time needed to heal and grow. From our trained staff to the network of skilled professionals, we hope to create the sense of a family vs. an institutional way of living. |

Support & Equipping
Our team has decades of experience, along with the heart to walk with those who are suffering and looking for answers. A principle of Youth-Reach, which began in 1984 in Houston, Tx, is that we do not charge for our services. In order to do this we rely heavily on the generous support of our donors. |
