What is Teton Science Schools?Teton Science Schools is an educational organization located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In their “Mountain Academy” they offer Pre-K to 12th grade classes.
However, they also offer a variety of programs for schools and organizations (like Love the Wild Foundation) to experience their hands-on learning style. These programs have a large focus on teaching students about environmental science topics especially the ecosystem of Yellowstone and Teton National Park utilizing the space around them by taking students out into the field. Overview of Our Trip
Love the Wild Foundation attended Teton Science Schools for a 4-day program arriving June 16th and departing June 19th
Participating on this trip was ten 8th – 10th grade students from Idaho Falls from various schools including Compass Academy, Skyline, White Pine Stem Academy, and Taylorview. As well as two chaperones the project manager Jadon Schemers and teacher volunteer Sherry Arnone-Wheat |
