Our Corporate Response to Helping Those in Need
The People First Charitable Foundation was founded in late 2021 when our nation was still reeling from the COVID-19 pandemic. These are unprecedented stressful times as individuals deal with issues related to depression, drug, and alcohol abuse, and even suicide. We acknowledge there is an overall outcry for increasing mental health services which is why our volunteer committee agreed the time was right to support mental health as an area of focus.
2022 Donations
We raised $111,957 including a match from our parent company, Galway. These funds were immediately sent to AmeriCares (links to external site) and Care (links to external site) to support the families facing crisis in Ukraine.
2021 Donations
These following charities support mental health and have been selected and vetted for their national reach and service delivery to a variety of audiences. The four charities listed below will each receive a percentage of the money raised. In less than three months, we raised $24,500.
