Rules of Conduct The following” Rules of Conduct” apply to any individual who enters onto any part of the King School Park, both inside and outside—that is a part of and operated as the Good in the Hood Festival. Any person who violates any of the following rules can be told to leave the property and not return. If the excluded person does return to any part of the permitted area, he or she can be arrested for committing the crime of Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Furthermore, the GITH Planning Team and its’ representatives have the right to refuse service to any person for any non- discriminatory reason.
No person shall engage in any conduct that violates any Federal, States, or City law.
No person shall engage in conduct that disrupts or interferes with the designated operations of the festival or that disturbs festival participants, including but not limited to conduct that involves the uses of abusive or threatening language or gestures, creating unreasonable noise, or conduct of loud or boisterous physical behavior.
No person shall enter the non-public area or GITH Planning Team only area.
No person shall possess or consume alcoholic beverages or be in possession of items commonly known to be used to conjunction with illegal drugs or be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
No person shall engage in behavior that involves asking for or seeking money from Festival participants or its’ volunteers.
No person shall engage in conduct that constitutes the selling or offering to sell any goods or services that is not authorized by the GITH Planning Team.
No person shall deposit garbage of any type upon the festival premises except in receptacles intended for that purpose.
No person shall interfere with ingress or egress of others at the entrance to Festival.
No person shall possess any firearms, knives or other instruments which could be used to inflict injury upon a person or damage to property.
No person shall deface, damage, or destroy any merchandise, fixtures or other property of the festival.
No person shall post any signs, handbills, flyers, posters or other similar objects at the Festival unless authorized by GITH representatives.
No person shall use the festival’s permitted area in ways that they were not intended.
No person shall enter the festival premises without proper clothing to include shoes and shirt.
No person shall use the festival’s restroom facilities to bath or shave.
No person shall bring animals of any type, other than service animals, onto the festival premises.
No person shall distribute written materials or seek signature for a petition while in or upon Festival premises, unless previous authorization has been approved.
No person shall refuse to obey any reasonable request of a GITH representative.
