Epilepsy is a neurological condition marked by a recurrence of seizures. There are more than 40 different types of seizures and they can look very different from person to person. Symptoms can range from a blank stare or “zoning out,” to stiff muscular tension, to violent thrashing.
Despite modern medicine, epilepsy remains a mystery. There is no such thing as living well with epilepsy, and unfortunately, is a life-long battle with no clear pathway toward a cure. The Isaiah Stone Foundation wants to change that reality by giving hope and resources to those fighting epilepsy.
