Human Rights in Childbirth is using this opportunity to bring us together, to design safe, respectful care that, from the perspective of pregnant women and birthing individuals, will offer the range and quality of pregnancy and birthing care options free from abuse and mistreatment.

To achieve our goal, we are forming an international legal and consumer advocacy network to support human rights defenders, share relevant legal and human rights information, collaborate and defend the human rights of pregnant women and birthing individuals, in every country around the world.

- human rights principles into provider training and certification,
- human rights principles into pregnancy and birth care education,
- human rights monitoring and accountability at the level of birth facilities; and
- develop an united consumer voice for pregnant people across the globe.
