- Children ages 3-11 and youth over 11 express emotions and feel valued
- Parents and guardians initiate meaningful conversations and create a safe space for family

Ending the Silence
This free 50-minute session aims to help middle and high school aged youth learn the warning signs of mental health conditions, as well as steps to take if they or a loved one are managing symptoms.
Ending the Silence uses tools such as a short presentation, videos, and a personal testimony from a young adult in mental health recovery. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions, promoting communication and connection and helping to end the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.
Ways to Attend:

These free presentations aim to change negative attitudes, assumptions, and stereotypes about people living with mental health conditions by providing personal and unique perspectives from a panel of several people living with mental health conditions themselves.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask each leader questions about their experiences.

These high school campus clubs are student-led and supported by NAMI Affiliates. Nami on Campus clubs aim to create safe and supportive spaces for teens to share experiences, resources, and encouragement to help recognize and manage mental health symptoms.
