Why Joshua?

Joshua Wingo was my uncle and one of the first supporters of my vision for Beneficial Pain. Josh was a believer in the people. Those who interacted with Josh can attest to the impression he made upon them. Josh was energetic and positive, while always being able to make people feel accepted for who they are. Throughout my uncle’s life, he faced adversity of his own. His ability to overcome these hardships allowed him to create a passion for supporting the mission of Beneficial Pain.

​On July 18th, 2021, we tragically lost Joshua Wingo. In honor of his passion for
community, we have dedicated this pantry to his memory.
