Center for Victim Research – designed to serve as a one-stop shop for victim service providers and researchers to connect and share knowledge to increase(1) access to victim research and data and (2) the utility of research and data collection to crime victim services nationwide. We use the following strategies to improve the response to victims:
- Promoting the collecting ad use of victim data.
- Increasing access to research evidence on victim policies, programs and practices.
- Supporting the translation and dissemination of victim research as usable information.
- Improving opportunities for researchers and practitioners to work together.
Justice Solutions – a national non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing rights, resources and respect for victims and communities hurt by crime; enhancing governmental and societal responses to crime and its consequences on individuals and communities; and strengthening crime prevention initiatives in America, Washington, DC.
- Oral History of the Crime Victim Assistance Field Video and Audio Archive – seeks to capture the evolution of one of the nation's most significant social rights movements – the Victim's Rights Movement.
National Alliance of Victims' Rights Attorneys – a membership alliance of attorneys and advocates committed to the protection, enforcement, and advancement of crime victims' rights nationwide. NAVRA is a project of the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI), a non profit research and educational organization that actively promotes balance and fairness in the justice system through crime victim centered legal advocacy, education, and resource sharing, Portland, OR.
National Association of Crime Victim Compensation Boards – promotes an exchange of information and ideas through a nationwide network of victim compensation programs and advances better methods for serving crime victims through various training and technical assistance activities, helping its members establish sound administrative practices, achieve fiscal stability, and engage in effective outreach, communication and advocacy, Washington, DC.
National Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators – advancing education, research, and public service to assure accessible quality services for crime victims nationwide, to strengthen exchange of information and communication among its members and to provide its members with training and technical assistance to effectively respond to the issues and challenges of supporting those services, Madison, WI.
