- Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence – the mission is to increase access to justice for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking by mobilizing the legal profession. The Commission addresses the acute need to increase the number of well-trained and supported attorneys providing representation to victims by providing creative training opportunities for lawyers, law students and other legal advocates. - Family Law Section – has the following six goals: 1) to promote and improve the family; 2) to be the pre-eminent voice on marital and family issues; 3) to serve our members; 4) to improve public and professional understanding about marital and family law issues and practitioners; 5) to increase the diversity and participation of our membership; and 6) to improve professionalism of all participants in the administration of marital and family law.
- Military Pro Bono Project – accepts case referrals from military attorneys on behalf of junior-enlisted, active-duty military personnel and their families with civil legal problems, and it places these cases with pro bono attorneys where the legal assistance is needed. The Project is also the platform for Operation Stand-By, through which military attorneys may seek attorney-to-attorney advice to better assist their servicemember clients, Chicago, IL.
- National Inventory of the Collateral Consequences of Conviction, ABA Criminal Justice Section – through the Inventory each jurisdiction's collateral consequences will be made accessible to the public through a website that can be searched and sorted by categories and keywords. The website will make it possible for criminal and civil lawyers to determine which collateral consequences are triggered by particular categories of offenses, for affected individuals to understand the limits on their rights and opportunities, and for lawmakers and policy advocates to understand the full measure of jurisdiction's sanctions and disqualifications. it will also be possible through the website to perform inter-jurisdictional comparisons and national analyses.
- With the support of the Office for Victims of Crime at the Department of Justice, the ABA Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence has launched the Survivor Reentry Project (SRP). SRP provides national training and technical assistance for attorneys working with survivors of human trafficking who have been convicted of a crime as a result of their victimization.
Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project – believes that real and lasting change in legal and social responses to domestic violence requires great patience and persistence. DV LEAP provides victims with the continued support needed – often for years – to take a case through the appellate process, in order to advance justice and achieve both system and perpetrator accountability, Washington, DC.

The Center for Survivor Agency and Justice – is dedicated to enhancing advocacy for survivors of oppression-based intimate partner violence. They strive to meet this goal by cultivating a community of attorneys and advocates who are skilled in survivors-centered advocacy and are capable of meeting the spectrum of survivors' civil legal assistance needs in partnership with others, Chevy Chase, MD.

- Consumer Rights for Domestic Violence Survivors Initiative
Battered Women's Justice Project – is the national resource center on civil and criminal justice responses to intimate partner violence (IPV). In addition to our main office in Minneapolis, BWJP manages the National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith and Credit and partners with the National Clearinghouse on the Defense of Battered Women, which provides assistance to IPV victims charged with crimes and their defense teams. All three offices provide technical assistance and training to professionals engaged in these systems: advocates, civil attorneys, judges and related court personnel, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, probation officers, batterers intervention program staff, and defense attorneys; as well as to policymakers, the media, and victims, including incarcerated victims, and their families and friends. BWJP also assists tribal and military personnel who fulfill equivalent positions in their respective institutional responses to IPV, Minneapolis, MN.
American Society of Trial Consultants – the primary purposes and objectives are to: provide an opportunity for networking and dialogue among individuals who share professional interests in trial consulting, trial-related research and teaching; encourage and assist in the professional growth and training of Society members; provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, opinions, techniques, experiences and research results in the area of trial consulting; encourage the development and refinement of appropriate methods for the application of research techniques to trial practice; promote the effective and ethical use of trial consulting techniques by attorneys; and encourage awareness of and provide accurate information about trial consulting, Timonium, MD.
