Paul Schwane - President
Paul and his wife Desiree have been married since 1999 and have four daughters, all of whom have attended CSY. Paul's family started at CSY in 2009, when their first daughter entered Kindergarten and who is graduating as a Senior in the class of 2022. Desiree is active in volunteering at CSY, as she has served with PTK and as Room Mom and lead Room Mom for multiple classes in elementary and middle school. Paul, Desiree, and their girls attend and serve at Living Word Community Church. Paul has been employed as a pilot for Southwest Airlines since 2004, currently as Captain based in Baltimore. Prior to this, he worked for Mesa Airlines/USAirways Express as a pilot, instructor, Check Airman, and Assistant Director of Safety. He has also served as a flight instructor and taught aviation courses at Oklahoma State University. Paul has served as a CSY trustee since 2011, including one year as secretary, three years as assistant secretary, and has served as Chairman of the Board since 2019.
Andrew Blackstone
Andrew and his wife Tiffany (a CSY graduate) have been married since 2007 and live in York. Their three children Josiah (class of 2027), Abigail (class of 2032), and Micah (Class of 2036), attend CSY and will be third-generation graduates. The Blackstones attend Calvary Chapel of York.
Andrew is a Financial Advisor at Miller and Gay Investment Management, where he helps develop financial plans and manages investments. He attended Messiah College (Class of 2009), where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Cultural Christian Ministry, and Liberty University where he earned his Master of Arts in Teaching.
Andrew has served on the Board since 2013, including two years as Vice-Chair, and two years as Board Chair. He is the current Chair of the Governance Committee and serves on the finance and endowment committees.

David Gilbert
Dave is a committed child of God, blessed husband of Tiffany, and father of 3 spectacular young men. To know Dave is to know the values that he holds dearest, namely compassion and empathy for his fellow man, integrity, honor, humility, and perseverance. Dave was baptized into the Catholic faith with his indoctrination into Christian principle and foundation rooted in that domain. Today, Dave and his family attend Genesis Church.
After completing high school, Dave voluntarily joined the United States Navy, where he served as a Navy Corpsman for just shy of six years. Dave completed his undergraduate studies after leaving the Navy and went on to attend medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ultimately, Dave went on to further complete training as an Interventional Cardiologist at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. Currently, Dave is the medical director for the Cardiac & Vascular service line for the UPMC Southern Division, which consists of UPMC Memorial and UPMC Hanover Hospitals.

Kyle Hawkins
Kyle and his wife Erica have been married since 1993. They are the proud parents of six children and two grandchildren. Kyle studied at Shippensburg and received his B.S. in Christian Education from Emmanuel Baptist University.Kyle has worked with youth and families in York, PA, for over 25 years. He began his career working with youth at Crispus Attucks Association, LIU Educational Services, and Mission Home Educational & Counseling Services, which is an Alternative Education school servicing 6-12th grades. During his 18-year career at MHE, he climbed the position ladder from Counselor, Director, to CEO of Operations. Kyle and his family are members at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in York, PA. Kyle & Erica have served on the Deacon & Deaconess board for the past 27 years, where he is involved in many aspects of the church, including as a youth Sunday School teacher for 16 years. Kyle has recently been called into the Ministry to preach the Word of God. He has recently been ordained as a Minister and Pastor.

Leah Miller- Secretary
Leah lives in Hanover. Her son is a 2020 CSY graduate. She serves as the Business Manager at New Hope Ministries, a Christian Social Service Agency that serves South Central Pennsylvania. In her role as business manager, she has the opportunity to understand the non-profit business model and how a mission-minded organization operates. Leah holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management from the University of Phoenix.

Matthew Thomson- Treasurer
Matthew and his wife Carol have been married since 1998. Together they have two children. Levi who recently succumbed to his battle with leukemia was a graduate of CSY in 2019. Their daughter Grace (class of 2025) has been a CSY student since 5th grade. The Thomson Family are active members of Cornerstone Bible Church in Dover, PA. Matthew grew up in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada and came to the United States at the age of 20 to pursue a career in heavy construction. After serving a 5 Year apprenticeship, Matthew has worked in the construction industry for the past 30, plus years including owning and operating his own business for 12 years.
Matthew has been a member of the Board since 2020 and currently serves as Treasurer. Matthew and his family have been blessed by CSY and are committed to the mission of CSY.

Eric Tyler- Vice Chair
Eric and his wife Nicole have been married since 2005. They have one son, Parker, who is currently enrolled at CSY. Eric has served as a children's Sunday school teacher, assisting young children with studying God's Word and applying His life-guiding principles. He also served as a teacher in a mentorship program that focused on guiding young men in their early walks with Christ. Eric also coaches youth basketball and soccer teams in York. God has given Eric a heart to help children reach their greatest potential. Eric is an engineer with Verizon Communications. The family attends Mt. Pleasant Church. Eric has served as a trustee on the CSY Board since 2016. He has served as Vice-Chair since 2019. Eric is the current Chair of the Association Relations Committee and also serves on the Governance Committee.
