2012 Founding SponsorsIn early 2012 Inspiration Alcona was just a dream, a group of people who had banded together to create an arts and music retreat even though they had no venue, no instructors and no money.
Thanks largely to the kindness and generosity of a number of Alcona County businesses and residents, that dream became a reality in September 2012 when the first annual Alcona Arts Retreat was held. Those donors who trusted us in our first year continue to hold a special place in our hearts. A number of these original backers continue to help each year. Since 2014 Inspiration Alcona has been a 501(c)3 nonprofit, donations to which are eligible for tax deductions. See the donations page for ways in which to donate. |
