Eric Melrose
2nd Vice President
Eric discovered American Hero Hunt after a random Facebook marketplace purchase of an item from an existing member. After that one chance meeting where he learned about the organization, there was no looking back! He had found the path that would allow him to support his fellow veterans and give back to America's Heroes.
Eric was medically retired from the USMC after 11 years, during which time he crisscrossed the globe in support of our country. He's an avid hunter who enjoys introducing the sport to new people and being there to support and celebrate seasoned hunters. Originally from the Newark area, he returned to Coshocton County to live after short stints in Michigan and Minnesota. As a landowner, he is excited to share his property with Heroes.
When he's not setting up American Hero Hunt campsites or helping process animals harvested by Heroes, he enjoys spending his time with family, including his wife, 3 adult children and 2 grandsons. His time is well-spent working with the families' various animals and finding ways to encourage the next generation of heroes and hunters.
