Literacy day. The event was held at the Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston, LA from 11am to Noon.
During Dr. McJamerson's presentation, she encouraged the youth to take a look at an article in Success Magazine about entrepreneur Jason Tartick on how to find your niche in life. She also brought along with her, Mikaila Ulmer's book, Bee Fearless. Mikaila, a young entrepreneur, started Me & the Bees Lemonade at the tender age of 4 and now her products are sold in over 1500 locations.
LUCC is striving hard to expose our youth to the many positive and productive opportunities that await them. It's not too late to join us in our efforts to help Lincoln Parish as we unite in working together to make us all better.
We thank the parents for making sure the youth were there and it was pleasure to have in our presence Pastor Julius Sumler and Mrs. Valena Lane (New Rocky Valley B.C. Grambling, LA). Stay up to date by clicking our Facebook link at the top of this page.
