Frank MoralesORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Hi folks, my name is Frank Morales and I am excited to serve as President of the Bay Area Mustangs. My Mustang history began in 1982. I joined California’s Orange County Mustang Club in 1987 and became its President in 1989. I served as President for twenty-four years and today I am an honorary lifetime member. To me it’s important to have FUN with our hobby while giving to our community. My best memories are of fulfilling a Mustang restoration for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and creating the club’s “Hooves for Hope” charity.
I was also a member of the Southern California Ford Car Club Council for twenty-five years. This club includes many Presidents from various Ford Clubs who host the largest one-day Ford show in California, Fabulous Fords Forever. I became Chairman in 2008 and served for five years. I was recognized in 2010 when I received the Lee Iacocca Award, a great honor for me. I currently own a 1965 Mustang GT Convertible (K-Code), 1966 Mustang Coupe, 1966 Shelby GT-350 Hertz, a 1965 AC Cobra and a 2015 Mustang GT. |
I’ve worked for a Ford Dealership in California as a Fleet Manager for twenty years. Now I am semi-retired, and relocated here to Florida, but I still work for the Dealership. I relocated to Florida in 2015 and joined several local Mustang Clubs, of which I served as President of one of them for two years.
I’ve been fortunate that my love of Mustang’s has been both a fulfilling career and hobby. As I set out on this new adventure, I hope that you will join us at the Bay Area Mustangs (BAM!) to have some FUN and to give back to the community.
