Margaret “ Peggy” Hernandez is a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a Master’s in Education in 1992 and she graduated from Regis University with a Master in Marriage and Family in 2021.

Peggy taught for11 years in the Boulder Valley School District as a Special Education teacher until 2001. After such time, she switched her interests and began working in the field of outpatient services for substance abuse and domestic violence treatment in the state of Colorado.

Peggy expresses great desire to help individuals, couples, and families, in navigating their way towards positive change through the modification of personal environments to meet their unique needs. It is her plan to increase her ability to work with couples and families by initiating steps toward becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Colorado.
