Dr. Tatyana Kaliuzhnaia (MD)
Dr. Tatiana Kaliuzhnaia graduated from the medical department of Kabardino-Balkarian State University, Russia, in 2006. Between 2006 and 2008 she worked as a resident at the Scientific Centre of Children’s Health of the Russian Academy of Medical Science. During the next three years she worked at the nephrology department of the Scientific Centre of Children’s Health as a PhD student. Dr. Kaliuzhnaia’s dissertation discusses immunization against pneumococcal infection in patients with kidney diseases. She has been a senior scientific researcher at the Vaccine Prevention Clinic of the Scientific Centre of Children’s Health during 8 years. Since March 2020, she works as a leading researcher at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Scientific Centre of Pediatrics and Children’s Health" under the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia. She is interested in immunization of patients with chronic diseases, before and after transplantation, and immunocompromised children, as well as doctors inoculating children with a violated catch-up vaccination schedule. She actively participates in international congresses, gives lectures at scientific conferences, and regularly writes articles and methodological discussions for scientific journals. Dr. Kaliuzhnaia also takes part in different clinical trials.
Dr. Kaliuzhnaia joined the ViVI Scientific Think Tank In 2011, when we conducted studies on the quality of vaccine adverse event reporting in Germany and Russia. |
