Lea Seeber
Lea Seeber is a pediatric resident at DRK Kliniken in Berlin. At the moment she is completing her rotation in neuropediatrics, where she and her team are helping children with epilepsy, developmental delay, and neuromuscular disease. They frequently advise parents with questions about special vaccine indications for their children. Lea is always happy when she can alleviate concerns with a thorough vaccine safety consultation.
Lea is currently working on her doctoral thesis in pediatric infectious diseases and vaccines. Her dissertation is focused on communicating vaccine safety and vaccine benefit/risk. She is interested in studying the extent to which modern digital media, in combination with conventional documents (such as vaccination cards), may help to improve the understanding of the benefits of immunization, and the need to vaccinate. In her spare time, Lea enjoys discussing literature in several reading groups and learning German Sign Language. Young ViVI member since 2012. Lea's publications can be found here. |
