Prof. Dominique Angèle Vuitton (MD, PhD, HDR)
Prof. Vuitton is Professor Emeritus in Clinical Immunology at the University of Franche-Comté (Besançon, France) and Corresponding Member of the French National Academy of Medicine. She was Vice-President, in charge of research, of the University of Franche-Comté and Head of the WHO Collaborating Center on Prevention and Treatment of Human Echinococcosis. She has shown a great interest in linguistics for many years and was one of the main medical researchers of the Project LiSe (« Linguistique, normes, traitement automatique des langues et sécurité), a research project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), coordinated by the University of Franche-Comté, with Airbus Company as a partner. Executive director of “Vuitton Consultant”, a small company involved in research project management, and scientific expert for the European Commission DG Research and EFSA, she also took part in the creation of Prolipsia, a company which offers controlled language writing services and develops as well as commercializes controlled language writing software solutions.
Prof. Vuitton is founding member of the ViVi Scientific Think Tank since 2008 contributing expertise in immunology, parasitology and allergy. |
