Susann Mühlhans, MD
Susann Mühlhans, MD is now a practicing pediatrician in Berlin. She joined ViVI in 2010, when she was a doctoral student at Charité University Medical Center in Berlin.
Susann gained clinical research experience and certification while working on an observational safety study evaluating the antiviral treatment of influenza in children, as well as a Phase 1/2 pharmacokinetic infant trial. Susann was also involved in prospective cohort studies on influenza and meningitis in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute. Her doctoral thesis focused on vaccine safety know-how among members of pediatric professional societies in Russia and Germany, a study initiated by the Vienna Vaccine Safety Initiative. Susann participated regularly in international teleconferences on vaccine safety in developing and industrialized countries. Young ViVI member, 2010-2015. Susan's publications can be found here. |
