Stefan Fitzinger
Stefan Fitzinger conducted his dissertation project with us while a 4th year medical student in Vienna. He was part of a team conducing the ViVI Vaccine Safety Survey 'Perceptions of vaccine safety among parents and guardians of children and adolescents in Vienna, Austria'. Stefan's thesis was focused on differences in uptake and acceptance of specific vaccines in the Austrian Immunization schedule. He chose this topic because vaccines had been the subject of discussions and controversy in the past, and will likely continue to be debated in the future. With his dissertation, he aims to contribute to a better understanding of parental concerns around vaccines and immunization.
Young ViVI member, 2008-2010. Stefan's publications can be found here. |
